Kitten season is here!!!!  River Cities Humane Society for Cats needs volunteers to bottle feed orphaned, newborn kittens.  The shelter will supply the kitten formula and bottles; you supply the love and care.  When the kittens are old enough to eat on their own, they can be returned to the shelter to await adoption.  Saving a litter of kittens by serving as their foster parent is a truly rewarding experience that you will never forget.  If you’d like to help out, please call the shelter at 318/343-3031 and leave your name and a daytime phone number.  Thank you!

Garage Sale Items Needed!!

If you have garage sale items you would like to donate, please drop them off at the shelter, located at:
5302 DeSiard Street in Monroe,
During business hours (1:00 – 5:00 p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday) or call the shelter at 318-343-3031 to make arrangements for pick-up.  We need dishes, cookware, pictures, bric-a-brac, linens, furniture, toys, etc.  (No clothes, please.)
