How To Help
Here
are just a few ways that you can help the shelter. Feel
free to help in any way you can, we're glad for any help we can
get!!
Bottle Feeders Needed!
Since
kitten season is just around the corner, the River Cities
Humane Society for Cats is signing up volunteers to bottle
feed new-born kittens. The shelter will supply the
kitten formula and bottles, you supply the TLC. When
the kittens are old enough to eat on their own, they can be
returned to the shelter to await adoption. Persons
interested in helping out may call the shelter at
318/343-3031
to leave your name and a daytime phone number. Thank
You!

Garage Sale Items Needed!!
If you have garage sale items you would like to donate, please
drop them off at the shelter during business hours (1:00 – 4:45
p.m., Tuesday thru Saturday) or call the Shelter at 343-3031
during business hours to make arrangements for pickup.
We need dishes, cookware, pictures, bric-a-brac, linens,
furniture, toys, etc.
No clothes, please.
We Recycle!! Do You?
We will gladly accept
your used aluminum cans for recycling. Cans may be dropped
off at the shelter during regular business hours. We'll
show you how to turn aluminum cans into cat litter, cat food, or
medicine. Cans are money, and it takes money to feed,
house and get medical care for all our furry friends at the
shelter.

These
are just a few ways you can get involved and help! The
main thing is to help. Remember.... The longest journey
begins with a single step! Any help, no matter how small
makes a difference. Please start today and help the
shelter help the cats and kittens!
